Art for Places
Community Engagement
The Sefton Water Works public art commission was run in conjunction with a wide range of artist led projects being delivered at a grass roots level in South Sefton.
The projects were designed to engage the local community in a creative dialogue about the Leeds Liverpool canal, and to offer residents new opportunities and experiences. It is hoped the local community will embrace the canal's potential as a key social and economic asset to support the regeneration of their neighbourhoods.
