RESIDENTS HAVE THEIR SAY ON HOUSING PROPOSALS!
News
Residents living in the Granby Housing Market Renewal area in Liverpool have been speaking to developers and housing professionals to find out more about the regeneration plans for their area.
Local people met with Registered Social Landlord the Plus Dane Group along with developers Gleeson and Lovell, who are building and refurbishing homes in the area, and were on hand with plans of the proposed properties.
The consultation event, which was held at Granby Adult Learning Centre in Eversley Street, welcomed many local residents who were looking forward to the changes and also had the support of the ward councillors for Princes Park.
The South Central Neighbourhood Team and the Home Ownership Advisory Service were present to answer any questions residents had about the process.
Liverpool City Council Leader Joe Anderson said:
"The day was a great success and we have received a great deal of positive feedback from residents who are already seeing the area improving and who are looking forward to seeing the plans take shape. We welcome the comments we received from all residents during the day and are delighted that the redevelopment proposals have been considered by the residents in this way."
